| Description: | Born in a rural small town , St. Veit in Carinthia, the most southern province of Austria she was forced to take up a confectioners apprenticeship by her parents but was allowed to take up simultaneus lessons with a famous painter. At the age of 19 she becamed the youngest confectioner master Austria ever knew.
In 1961,when she was 20 years old she got married and had 3 daugthers. With her husband she founded and ran a packaging company jointly in Klagenfurt , the federal capital of Carinthia.
The demanding tasks of work and bringing up her children took all her free time and smothered the artist within her. But after all toghether they earned a lot of success .Now one of her daughters is running the company . | |
